Forfeiting Peace

"Oh what peace we often forfeit, oh what needless pain we bear. All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer."

As I think about my upcoming trip, I sometimes find myself fearful which does not foster a spirit of peace that demonstrates trust in God.

• Please pray that I would not carry needless pain by worrying about traveling by myself.

• Pray that I would not forfeit peace, but embrace a peace that is explainable only by the Lord.

• Pray that I would know the degree to which I should prepare to teach Algebra II to a small group of 8th graders in a traditional math classroom setting.

• Pray that I would adjust well to a new culture and ask for help in humility.
