Pray & Praise

Please pray for...

• growth in compassion for the students I get to interact with

• adequate time devoted to planning and preparing engaging Algebra II lessons

• the adjustment of 8th students (Gent, Anid, Vesa, Lina) to a new structure of learning math in an interactive classroom

• 6th grade students who are significantly behind in their online coursework: Anesa, Oltion, Liridon, Rrita and for my patience as I work with them

• a continual commitment to prayer - that it may always be the step out in front of work

• defense against the lies from the Devil: wanting me to think that my being here to serve is not effective or has no impact

Praise God for...

• the warm welcome of the team here and encouraging conversations

• the Padget family for inviting me to "be a part of their family: and come over whenever! (I LOVE that!! And as you may know, I love to be in people's homes.)

• good sleep after a few wobbly nights of jet lag

• the ability to explore the city of Mitrovica and enjoy nature on some hikes

• the wonderful prayer meeting on 1/9 (convicting quote from "Why Pray?" book: "Are we carrying Jesus along or being carried along by Jesus, walking in step with His Spirit?")
